Hotel Management System is implemented in asp.net with C#. This asp project is useful for computerizing various types of hotel record keeping work including hotel reservation. Hotel Management System application is developed keeping in view of the distributed client server technology. All record are stored in central database and all valid users can access this data online.

Modules of Hotel Management System

This application is basically divided into two sections

1. Admin module
2. Customer module

Existing Hotel Management System

Currently all record keeping work in hotel is done manually. When any customer comes in hotel his/her record is written on paper register. Room allocation status, service record and payment record etc. is also maintained on paper. This process has many disadvantages. This generates a lot of paper work and searching of any old record is again a difficult task. The present manual system is very less data security. All data is stored in the manual record so it is not possible to generate reports.

Proposed Hotel Management System project

To overcome all the above mentioned drawbacks we are going to develop this new computerized Hotel Management System. In this new system we will replace all the manual record keeping work with computerized working. Following are the silent features of the proposed system:

• There is no risk of data loss or damage. This system uses SQL server for database.
• This is a web based application and can be accessed over the internet.
• This is very user friendly application and provides secure access of data to only authorized users.
• Report generation becomes very easy with this new application.
• All data is stored in the central database so user admin always get updated reports.
• New system is very fast and efficient. Use of this application in the hotel makes record keeping work smooth.
